I will start off by saying I LOVE organization. There is something so calming, simplistic and lovely about having things labeled, organized and in it’s proper place. When things are organized, everything feels clean and right with the world. And in order to stay organized, one must PLAN. Planning keeps you on track. It ensures you are staying up to date with your daily objectives, such as: paying bills, budgeting, cleaning, remembering important dates, and tracking fitness and habits. One could easily take care of all their planning needs on their phone. However, if you’re anything like me (38 and set in her ways), you have a passion for analog documentation. There is just something so luxurious about putting pen to paper when planning my week.
Having items I can feel and touch when writing, opposed to a digital robotic feeling of using my phone. While I love my phone for shopping and checking my Facebook and Instagram feeds, it’s just not my top pick for planning and organizing my life.
Physical Planning
MY pick, is a physical planner, pen to paper. And I’ve spent countless hours searching for the BEST planners, accessories, and inserts to use. After much research, I discovered Cloth & Paper who offer all things planner related, as well as a monthly subscription in the specific planner size you use. Now when I say LUXURY, I mean it. Cloth & Paper’s subscription has the most beautiful packaging and planning accessories. And the best thing about it, is that it doesn’t break the bank! With tax and shipping, I pay $61.23 monthly for my subscription. When you factor in all the items you recieve and the quality of items, it is well worth it.
With each box, you will reieve a “dust” bag to hold your planning items, 2 high quality writing instruments (pens, markers, highlighters etc), 7-9 unique planning and stationary items, and more. Each month has a different theme. Last month was all about readers and ways to track your favorite books to be read. This upcoming months theme is all about financial planning and using the Kakeibo Method. If you choose the month to month subscription as I do, you can also opt out of that months subscription and repurchase when a theme you want comes out. Just be sure to make your purchase at the beginning of the month before it sells out. Cloth & Paper does an amazing job at showcasing the months items in advance so you can see if you want it or not.
SO, if you’re looking to start your planning journey or just looking to add some luxury to your current planning, check out Cloth & Paper’s monthly subscription, I don’t think you’ll be dissapointed.
